The paper fibers burn away in the kiln, making the walls <strong>extra transparent<\/strong>. So it&#8217;s ideal for translucent pieces.  <\/p>\n<p>The paper fibers also reduce the <strong>risk of cracking and tearing<\/strong>. The porcelain is easier to work and assemble, and is lighter. <\/p>\n<p>An alternative to paper porcelain is flax porcelain. Instead of paper fibers, flax fibers are added to the porcelain clay to give the same properties. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Want to learn how to work with porcelain?
